TIME FOR HOLIDAY

I'm of to France and Gozo (Malta) for two and a half weeks. No posts on this blog until the beginning of august. Have a nice summer :-)

EUROPEAN BUG-IN

The best show I have ever been to. No doubt about it. Lots of cool cars and a good atmosphere.

A big Thank You to all of you guys that made EBI come thru. I certainly hope there will be a European Bug-In #2

I went to the Right On Spring Nats this weekend at Gardermoen Raceway, to test out my new engine. It was a lot of fun, and I made it in to the 11s for the first time. I am still struggeling a bit getting used to the RHD car, but with a 11,81 @ 178 km/t on the first trip down the strip, I am satisfied. The engine has got a lot of torque, and on the fourth time out, my gearbox broke. Now I must get the car ready for Bug Run in Sweden, and of course for The European Bug-In in Belgium.

BACK FROM JPM IN SWEDEN

After several late evenings in my garage, and 36 hours without sleep, I came back to Norway with a big grin. How about 234 hp @ 6240 RPM, and 284 nm @ 5420 RPM (2387cc, FK89, 52 Bergs and CB 044 wedge heads ported by JPM)

Not only did JPM manage to get good results with my engine, it was also a very educational day. This guy is a magician with engine tuning and special solutions. Read more about his fantastic MS230 heads.

ALMOST READY

The Four Play engine is still in pieces, but hopeully it will be complete and running within a week. I am going down to JPM next friday for a day on his dyno, chasing horsepower. With Anders Romans old heads and 52 Berg carbs, I hope to come close to his dynoresult from last year. My goal is to attend the Spring Nat's at Gardermoen Raceway 12-13th. may, competing in the Sportsman class against the V8 guys.

IT IS SPRINGTIME :-)

At last, It's springtime in Norway!

The sun is shining, and I could finally bring out my dusty Karmann Ghia from winter storage. It now resides in another garage, waiting for me to find time to put in the new 2110cc turboengine. The buggy exhaust will be replaced with a CB hideaway system.
